Fantastic Fractions Strategy

WALT in class we have been doing fractions and our groups, my groups WALT is when the numerator is more than 1 multiply by the numerator. I have created a slideshow to show you a strategy I use when we do fractions of. I found this difficult because I didn't know how to explain it at the start but then I got and idea and I started to type, I also found the strategy helpful and I hope you find it helpful too.
have you used this strategy?
what answer did you get for the last question?
How did you feel doing this?

  1. Kia pai, Greer. From your explanation I can see you understand how to find a fraction of a set. Try to use a word problem for your example - then we can relate this into real life situations! It's great to see you gaining more confidence with fractions this year. Keep it up!
