The Golden Verse

Today I am blog posting about my RE work.

First our teacher read us the bible passage from Luke Chapter 6 verses 27-42. 

Our teacher read us the Golden passage, whichc you will find out about in the video below, but then we had to create a DLO about it and what it means and we had to create an example of what it is.

I enjoyed this task and had fun making it, I hope you learn something and enjoy.

Commitment?

I have created a newspaper about how bishops and pries'st and deacons and vocations, how they are committed to their jobs and how they show it, and how they follow the rules.

My story is quite short but I didn't have to much to write about. I found this quite easy but fun as well. We have been finishing of work so this is the second to last thing I had to complete.

Jesus Mission

Hey Bloggers,

I have done a comic strip for RE, and I would love to share it with you.

For RE we have been learning about the things Jesus did after he was baptised. Our Teacher gave us the task to create a comic strip and we had to include what Jesus life was like before we did this we watched a few videos and we took notes and did some research.

I made a comic strip on canva comic strip.

I enjoyed making the comic strip, at first I struggled to start because I didn't know if I would make it animated or what.

I wouldn't say mine is a comic but its sort of supposed to be one.

Gods Wrath and Anger

Hi Bloggers,
I have done an RE task ( religious education), I was put with a buddy and we were given a task too read a bible verse from Ezekiel chapter 20 verse 22, once we finished reading that we had to draw a picture, of what the bible verse is about after we drew the picture we wrote down the bible verse and then we showed our teacher.
The moral of this task was about how God protects us and we are like his children, and all the bible verses that were given to us all, were about how God is like a mother eagle protecting her children or a shepherd protecting his sheep.
How can I show others that I can be the holy spirit
One of the questions our teacher asked us was,
How can I show others that I can be the Holy Spirit.
I can show that by being kind, using my manners, and also being proud to speak of my belief in God. This is How can show that I have the Holy Spirit.
Down below is the bible verse I looked at yesterday and there's the picture I also created.


20 As silver, copper, iron, lead and tin are gathered into a furnace to be melted with a fiery blast, so will I gather you in my anger and my wrath and put you inside the city and melt you.

Following In Jesus Footsteps

Today we are back at school, which is exciting but I miss being at home in my pj's. 

We have been doing RE most of the day today and we were recapping on virtues and what they are. 

We had to make a video on what virtues are and examples of virtues in my video it will explain what virtues are. 

I enjoyed this task and have had fun using bitable to create my video.

I had to add a few things to my video and then it had to rebuild the video three times because I kept making changes and it took a really long time.

Becoming more like Jesus on Biteable.

Virtues

Whilst in lock down, we have been doing a lot of online school.

We have been doing a lot of RE, and one of the things we were learning about was virtues. Virtues means, doing a good deed for God and doing good things to please God. Showing Grace and peace is also a virtue. 

For our task we had to create a Venn diagram on how Jesus showed virtues and how we show virtues, in the middle we had to write what virtues we show that are similar to the virtues Jesus shows.

How Room 5 and I can show Respect!

In class we have been having a few problems, and we had to create a piece of writing of how we can show Respect, I made an acrostic poem about Respect. 

After we did that we had to finish creating it on Biteable. I had so much fun using Biteable and I would recommend it for others to use.

I can show kindness at Christmas

WALT recall how Mary heard the word of God and acted on it.

In class we have been learning about Mary and we had to create a DLO to show others how we I can do to become a disciple of Jesus. I listed a few things and put a lot of effort in. Please leave a comment and tell me if there is anything I can do better.

The Eucharist

WALT in class we have been learning about the Eucharist. I chose this symbol because it represents what I think the Eucharist is and it means to me that God is with you and you are one with God when you take the Eucharist. You need to ave your fist holy communion before you take the Eucharist.
The Eucharist is the body and blood and we need to remember that the Eucharist is the body of Jesus and he sacrificed himself for us.

Sacraments of Initiation

WALT in class for RE we have been learning about the three sacraments of initiation. We had to create a DLO to explain what we have learnt and to show others what we know about the Sacraments hope you enjoy my presentation.

My Psalms

In class in the morning for prayers we will get given a bible psalm and we will haft to pick a verse from it that we like and a lot of the verses stood out to me and they were really meaningful but only some really were special to me. Sometimes during this I felt happy and sad at the same time because it brought back some nice memories and bad. I enjoyed looking at the different psalms and here are my two. I will be adding more psalms to my slideshow so it isn't finished yet.
