Today for quarantine school tech. We were learning about states of matter, and we had to do an experiment which was creating oobleck and then we had to do an observation doc and a discovery doc on what the process was like and what we learnt, but I wasn't able to get my docs on my blog post but here are some pictures of my oobleck.
Here is a video of my process.
Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment.
The question in my discovery doc was: Why does oobleck act like it does?
and after some research I found out the reason why, its because when you squeeze the oobleck really hard the water evaporates but when you release it the cornstarch reacts and then it melts.
To make oobleck you just need:
1 1/2 cups of corn starch,
and
1 cup of water also you can add food colouring to make the oobleck a nice colour like red or blue.

We made Oobleck at my house, and so did some of the Room 2 children at their houses. It was pretty interesting seeing the changes it made. I like your photos, looks like you had fun!
