CAMP MEDIA?
Kia ora,
This post is about Media.
We had a school camp a few weeks ago and we came back after three days.
When we got back to school a couple days later we were set with a task to create a Media like a newspaper or website, about an event that happened at camp.
I created a website, it was something like the webstie Stuff. I enjoyed this task and made it as crative as I could.
I hope you enjoy it, also here is the link for when you see the dress, because the link won't come up on the red dress.

Hi Bloggers,
over half of term four we learnt about Angles, I enjoyed it and it wasn't very hard; it was easy to understand and I enjoyed learning about them.
Our task, once we had learnt all about Angles. Was to create a DLO about Angles and to teach others about it.
I enjoyed doing this, but it took me a while to do because I used Canva and somethings were por's so I had to change a lots of things in the end.
Hope you enjoy and learn something.

Commitment?
Aloha Bloggers,
I have created a newspaper about how bishops and pries'st and deacons and vocations, how they are committed to their jobs and how they show it, and how they follow the rules.
My story is quite short but I didn't have to much to write about. I found this quite easy but fun as well. We have been finishing of work so this is the second to last thing I had to complete.
Here is my story.

Maori book
Kia Ora bloggers,
The last two weeks of school we have been finishing of work and just getting things completed, last week was Maori language week and we were learning about facts and different things.
We were given our task and set out to create it, our job was to make a DLO ( digital learning object) teaching someone about something in Maori like the months or greetings. I created a book on book creator teaching others the pronunciation of vowels in Maori, Maori colours and the days of the week in Maori.
I enjoyed creating this and I was new to this tool so I had a play around before I started but then I got the hang of it. I would recommend using this tool because its super fun and easy to use.
Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment if you enjoyed.

Pixton
Hi bloggers,
Today at school, we had an online learning project.
We had to pick four New DLO sites to use and kids form different schools taught us how to use them. Right now we were given the task to blog post about one of the new sites we were taught about today and I decided to write about pixton.
Pixton is a really cool tool to use and you can create comics and you get to create your own avatar and you choose your own background as well you get to customize your character and put it into different types of templates. You can also move your characters position and change their moves.
If you would like to try out pixton Search in the bar Pixton sign up.
I hope you learnt something from the blog post and I would recommend trying this tool out. Please leave a comment if you use this tool and if you enjoyed it or not.

Kowhaiwhai and Koru
Hello bloggers,
Today I will be sharing a quick blog post about Koru's and Kowhaiwhai.
Koru's are the most common design found in Kowhaiwhai patterns. Koru is The Maori word for loop and they are shaped like a spiral Koru symbolises, New life, Growth, Strength and peace. Koru's are used in Maori art, carving and tattoos.
Kowhaiwhai's are usually found on roofs of Maori meeting houses, Kowhiawhai represents Maori history, and Family trees of the tribe. Ponga's are also a type of plant and design and they grow all around New Zealand and they are usually found in wet damp places.
I hope you learn't something from the blog post

Cipher wheel
In topic we have been learning about cipher wheels and in the war men would use it to send codes to the enemies and the enemy would haft to decode the message and fast in case it had important information.
There have been codes that have never been figured out.
So in class we created a cipher wheel and gave it to a buddy and we would give them a number on the start of a letter.
I stuck sticky notes all around the school and then I gave my buddy a note to start with and then she had to find the other notes which would lead her to the treasure. the treasure was a Crunchie bar.
Here is a picture of my cipher wheel.

Local News
Bonjour Bloggers,
I have done some exciting RE work,
We were learning about Jesus's baptism and what happened during this time.
We had to finish our first task and then we moved onto this task which I enjoyed very much.
For this activity we watched a video and did some research about the video.
After that we had to use this News paper generator to create a story, I first created the title and started to write about Jesus's baptism and I included the information I got from the story.
I used my five words, Who, What, When, Where, Why.
I enjoyed this because I got to learn a lot more about Jesus's baptism and I also enjoyed creating the newspaper.
Here is my presentation.

Matariki
For reading we have been doing a lot of research on Matariki so we could teach others about it.
I used a google drawing to create my DLO.
I enjoyed this task and I found it fun, but I kind of found the tool I was using a bit boring but I will pick something more interesting next time.
Something I found hard was to find lots of information to describe what Matariki is.
Hope you learn something and enjoy.

Gods Wrath and Anger
I have done an RE task ( religious education), I was put with a buddy and we were given a task too read a bible verse from Ezekiel chapter 20 verse 22, once we finished reading that we had to draw a picture, of what the bible verse is about after we drew the picture we wrote down the bible verse and then we showed our teacher.
The moral of this task was about how God protects us and we are like his children, and all the bible verses that were given to us all, were about how God is like a mother eagle protecting her children or a shepherd protecting his sheep.
How can I show others that I can be the holy spirit
One of the questions our teacher asked us was,
How can I show others that I can be the Holy Spirit.
I can show that by being kind, using my manners, and also being proud to speak of my belief in God. This is How can show that I have the Holy Spirit.
Down below is the bible verse I looked at yesterday and there's the picture I also created.
20 As silver, copper, iron, lead and tin are gathered into a furnace to be melted with a fiery blast, so will I gather you in my anger and my wrath and put you inside the city and melt you.

Oobleck!
The question in my discovery doc was: Why does oobleck act like it does?
and after some research I found out the reason why, its because when you squeeze the oobleck really hard the water evaporates but when you release it the cornstarch reacts and then it melts.
To make oobleck you just need:
1 1/2 cups of corn starch,
and
1 cup of water also you can add food colouring to make the oobleck a nice colour like red or blue.
